Anne Boleyn was executed on May 19th in the Tower of London.

Exactly 18 years later, her daughter left the Tower of London where she had been imprisoned under the suspicion of treason.

*I’ll never understand why no one makes a big deal about this. Elizabeth left the Tower on May 19th. MAY 19TH.

Wow, I had no idea!

How much did Henry VIII love Anne Boleyn? And do you think she was his favourite?

I think he loved Anne a lot. Anyway, he went through many things to get her, like divorsing Catherine of Aragon and breaking with Rome. He also courted her for a long time. Out of all of Henry’s wives, his relationship with Anne was the richest in my opinion. They shared mutual intrests, passion. They seem to have had that unity in their best years, which makes me think that their love was the strongest. But, of course, every couple has ups and downs.

Anne certainly was his favourite when they were in love. But Henry is said to always call Jane Seymour “the love of his life” obviously for providing him with a son he wanted so much and for so long.

Natalie Dormer off-topic, just too upset so please bear with this one post
